Here's the thing. I was really good friends with this one girl at school until over two years ago, where we left and went to different colleges. We were quite close and open with each other sexually, never actually doing anything but always casually flirting or making innuendos or jokes, and even going as far as admitting to one another fantasising about each other while masturbating. But it was all good fun and as I said, we were really good friends but didn't worry about feelings or anything. Then the other day, I saw her in the supermarket (we didn't even speak, we just smiled at one another and moved on)and my heart leapt. When I say that, I mean in an exciting way like I have with crushes or past girlfriends, and I was made more aroused by seeing her, which really disturbs me. I can't stop thinking about her now. So my question is this: is this lust or love? Is there anything I should do in this situation?

It may just be physical love but probably emotional love also. Or you probably like her physically because you got aroused when you saw her. What I think you should do is talk to her about your feelings seeing as you already talked about all kinda of other stuff then it won't be awkward :) go on do it lol

Is it mostly sexual things that you both talk about?

No, not really. We were just great friends who occasionally flirted, or joked, or made innuendos at each other. We never meant any of it to mean anything, which is one of the reasons why I'm so surprised and concerned about this...btw I think she has a bf too now so I'm not overly keen on talking to her about it.

Then you maybe falling for her. Getting aroused could probably be due to excitement. If you think she could have a bf confirm it first and then see if you can tell her about this.
