Not so many Wii U consoles have been sold and this game might help sell more, but for those who do have one, are you excited for this game? For those who don't have a Wii U yet, will this game make you buy one (especially if they make a bundle)?

TLoZ is undoubtedly my favorite videogame series of all time. I used to have the collectors edition disk fir gamecube with the first 2 games, Majoras Mask, Ocarina of Time, and a Wind Waker Trial/ preview thing. That was when I was 5 years old. I had to have my Dad read all the text for me, but other than that I was pretty good.

I hated Skyward Sword though. Sorry. I tried it, and I thought it sucked. It was just really unzeldaish. Like, it just didn't have the same feel to it as the older games y'know? I might convince my parents to get us a Wii U if the new Zelda comes out though. Hopefully SS was just a rare fluke.

The Legend of Zelda series is my favorite series by far. I've played a lot of them nothing comes close to Ocarina of Time, expect Twilight Princess. Skyward Sword was good, but like I'm at the boss fight and have no desire to beat him, don't know why; they also made Ghirahim really tough to fight in my opinion. But I think I would buy a Wii U to play the new game, I need to get a 2DS/3DS for A Link Between Worlds and of course for the Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire remakes.

It sure is one of my favorite game series as well and it does go back way before Ocarina of Time but it surely is the best 3D Zelda game.
I had that same collector's disk, got it free with the GameCube and sold it on eBay last year for quite a bit of money.
I then played Twilight Princess on the GC of course and would have never played it on the Wii for the same reason I never played Skyward Sword, I hate motion controls.

I hate motion controls.

Amen, brother. I'll admit that motion controls can be fun for things like Wii Tennis or Kinect dancing, but do I want gimmicky motion controls in my everyday games? Fuuuuuck nooooo.

I'm already saving to buy a Wii U just for this and Hyrule Warriors.

As much as I love the Zelda series (especially the top-down view ones), this isn't going to convince me to buy a WiiU. I don't have tons of money, and expecting most people to just shell out for new systems every year or two is just crazy to me. I'm skipping this generation of systems entirely.

The Wind Waker HD is pretty much the only thing I'd want a Wii U for, so really it's not enough for me to buy the Wii U just for one game, even though it is my favorite.

Unfortunately, Hyrule Warriors is only going to be a Dynasty Warriors
coated with the TLoZ universe, but I happen to like DW even if it got
awful reviews, so I'm looking forward to it.

Every year or 2? Did I miss out on some consoles? Every generation
change occurs every 5 years or so, the last gen even lasted 8 years
and will keep going even if there's a new one now, speaking of which,
the Wii U is a last gen system that came out late (way too late).

So, you want WWHD but not the new Zelda coming out in 2015?

I like it, but not as much as I used to.

This game will be amazing, guaranteed. The art style and environment shown prove how much effort is being put into development.

The first ever open world Zelda game from what they said, that scene with Link on Epona in this vast grassy plain reminded me of Oblivion (played more Oblivion than Skyrim) so I'm thrilled about the game but I must say I'm not such a fan of the Cel shaded art style, preferring the style of the old tech demo (which is the graphics engine they seem to have used for Hyrule Warriors).
