need cheering up

Have you ever had one of those days where you just don't feel like doing anything, even though there's lots you could be doing? I'm having one right now. I guess I'm a little depressed. I think it's from all the antibiotics I have to be on for Lyme disease that I got last summer.

And a semi-funny story. I SWEAR it's true:

During PE one day, we were playing doubles tennis. One of my jackass friends decides to try to drop-kick a ball. While he does make contact with the ball, his shoe goes flying about 10 feet (hitting me on the side of the face) and the ball flies over the fence into a wooded area surrounding the court. Being unbalanced, he promptly falls on his ass.

While retrieving his shoe, he has his partner retrieve the ball. While attempting to vault over the net, the partner trips and falls face down. While this was happening, a deer runs out of the forest, stops and looks at us for a while, then leaps over two fences and is gone.

After finally getting to the other side of the fence where the ball should have been, we were unable to locate it despite vigorous searching. What we did find was a few weed plants. (We didn't touch them of course, but we found it vaguely funny.)
