I typically like house/chillstep/trance/EDM for a more relax feel, and Garage ever since I've discovered Disclosure. Also classical music.

Hip-Hop and a lot of metal gets me pumped up and excited.

Pop/Indie/Reggae is just for a general "life's good" kinda feel.

I HATE modern music. But if I wanna cheer up... "SH-Boom" by the Chords, "California, Here I come!" from Al Jolson, the instrumental version of "The Wabash Cannonball"..
Aaand when I'm driving my 1938 Raleigh bicycle to some random place, I always BLAST 'He'd Have to Get Under, Get Out and Get Under!!!", sung in 1914 by Billy Murray. (It describes me very well...)
And the theme from Animaniacs, that just makes me happy..
