Having trouble breathing

so a while back,i thought i might have asthma,i couldn't breath and i drinked water and it got better,but now whenever i try to breath through my nose to improve breathing,my lung doesn't inflate much

I don't think that's asthma. As everyone else said, you should get that checked out by a medical professional.

If you had asthma, it wouldn't be painful to breathe hard, and generally water wouldn't help. So it's probably something else, I just have no idea what it could be.
