Hey, just asking about building a gaming pc. Is it worth it? Is it fun? Just share your own experiences. Also, how much money would it be? What should I spend for the parts. I am looking to run games such as Battlefield 4 off it. My preferred range of spending is up to like 800 bucks

That is definitely doable at that range. You can do some research on decent parts for yourself and use PCPartPicker to look up parts and whatever. I (and probably other members) will give some suggestions for parts as well. I'll post mine when I do some looking around.
How does this (http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Hugh_G_Rection/saved/Tpprxr) look to you? $820, but it's a good mid-high end computer. You should be able to run BF4 at ultra or high settings with that graphics card (if you could find a GTX 670 for cheaper, I'd go with that, but they're harder to find because they're a bit older). If you wait until the fall (when new graphics cards are released), you might be able to get a better deal.

If you wanted, you could build a pretty decent gaming pc for $500. All depends what kind of games you are into. I've been looking into a $2,000 gaming pc :) . http://toptengamer.hubpages.com/hub/Best-2-000-Gaming-PC-Desktop

8GB G.SKILL 1800MHZ
CIT Diablo Gamers case
Generic PSU

BatelField 3 1080P High setting I get 60+ FPS. Solid build.

Wow thanks for the response! The parts look great! I'm hoping to buy the parts around cyber Monday or Black Friday to get a steal. Anyway, can't wait to get working after I buy the parts! I might just build it when I have a long weekend, or a free week with your parts! Thanks!

No problem. If you're waiting that long, you should bump this thread around October or November after some new hardware comes out. I did the same thing you did, and you might not find a "steal" online, but you'll definitely find some better deals all around which should save you around $50 total. Glad to help! :D
