I am attracted to a girl. Surprise. But, because of circumstances, I don' t believe it wise to actually come right out and tell her.
First: We are both 14, she is four months older than me, but we are a grade apart. However, I'm homeschooled and a grade ahead of my age, so we're basically in the same category.
I've known her for a few years, but only as an acquaintance. I generally see her once a week, at a baseball game. Our younger brothers both play. Last time, we were sitting beside each other and had a nice chat, (which she initiated) mostly about exams.
The reasons I am hesitant to tell her straight up:
Her parents and mine are always around, and getting her alone would create an awkward situation for both of us.
Her family are Baptists, and I don't know what their feelings on dating are.
I don't see much of her (comparatively), and I don't wan to make things awkward between us. But I don't want to be friend-zoned either.
