No, don't be embarrassed. It happens. You might just want to trim up a little bit. I keep my shaved/completely bald and that helps that issue! :) If you don't want to shave completely, you can always try leaving a little "landing strip" on top.

Usually, when people wear swim suits, they prefer to be shaved. Well... that's over here.

Don't worry about it! Having pubic hair is completely natural and normal. If you feel insecure about it, trim or shave before wearing a bathing suit. If it makes you feel better, I've seen girls in bathing suit bottoms with completely natural hair, and nobody seemed uncomfortable or said a single word about it.

Yes it's not something to be embarrassed about it's normal. Don't get pressured into shaving it. I've got quite a bit of pubic hair and some comes out of the sides and a little at top of my swimming bottoms but it's not a problem. It doesn't matter, it's normal.

It's all about how you feel about it.
I for one saw my sister's hair stick out a bit before but I didn't argue about that.
Some shave some don't.
Though.. if it's as bad as another girl that I saw -it almost reached her knees-.
Then yes please shave, it wasn't really the prettiest sight and I don't think having people gossip about her was something that made her happy.

Both of these answers are perfect.
It's not a big deal. I used to shave for years, getting concerned that I'd get flack over it I guess? I have no idea. I've had...Strange body issues due to an event I'd rather not discuss right now...but for most of my life as well, actually. (Said event happened when I was 13, I started shaving 'down there' before then.)
Anyways, if you want to shave? Go for it. (Be warned- it does itch for the first few months or so) If you don't? Don't feel bad about it. The ones who will care are presumptuous snobs who will get nowhere in life, ok? So on the off chance that you get shit over it, just remember that you don't have to listen to them.

I shave 100% and I'm so glad. It looks so much better and there's less of a "mound" in my bikini (other than the natural mound). But it's all personal preference.

Trim a bit if you aren't comfortable with a complete hair removal, can't say I have much experience with this problem, I have been waxing practically from the moment I first got pubic hair (thanks mom  )

I keep mine trimmed a bit and it's all fine. But as I'm genderqueer I mainly wear board shorts anyway. :)
But don't be embarrassed, it's normal. Shave or trim if you wish

I am unshaven and I am aware that hair peeks out of my bikini bottoms. I am undecided whether to just leave it this year for when I go on holiday or whether to trim the sides. To be honest it is a natural thing to have so I sometimes feel why the heck should I trim just to please other people! Maybe I will just leave it!
