I am in love with the most amazing girl on the planet. I am one hundred percent sure she is my soul mate. We had an instant connection when we met and have only loved each other deeper and stronger since. I will marry this girl. I know this, and she completely agrees. We are on the same page about that. But we are about to enter a long distance relationship together. She's going to a different college and I'm going to a different country, 3565 miles away. I'm trying not to think about it but its on my mind more and more because its happening soon. ANd I know it will suck being a part, but breaking up is absolutely not an option. Any advice? Any similar situations? How do I get pass this and not let the last couple weeks we have together be spoiled with my depressing thoughts?

Well i am in a very similar situation the girl i love lives 1000 miles away from me and we do love eachother butnwe aren't dating yet. Because i will visit her soon. But she is moving to rio in july ;'( its rly sad when i think of. Thats why i will make the most of it when i see her.

So what i say you should do is still talk to eachother and maintain that beautiful relationship you guys have :) enjoy your time toghether and just talk and text eachother as much as you can. Hope it works. Jusy dont think about it till the day she leaves

I've been in long distance relationships before, they're horrible and I'd never ever do them again. I'm not saying that's what it will be like for you, it's just my story. If you are able to visit each other often, then I think it will work and you should continue... Not sure if not

I'm in an LDR with a guy who lives over 3000 miles away (he's from Michigan in the US I'm in the UK) and I can't say it's a bad thing, as long as you keep in contact with her often then it should be great. Intimacy is hard but apart from that everything is and can be good
