Hey guys, so here's my problem. I wear a 34DD bra size and I really like to run, but i realized it's uncomfortable when they're jut there bouncing up and down as I go about my workout. I do wear sports bras but I still have the same problem.

Also, do you guys think that Victoria Secret measures correctly? I'm a 34DD when I purchase bras from there but I'm smaller when I buy them from somewhere else.

Double up on the sports bra

I agree with amafox12, you could try wearing two sports bras at a time. You could also try getting racerback bras and see how those work.

As for the measurements, it's possible that Victoria's Secret brand runs a little bit bigger than average. I'm not sure as I've never bought a bra there.

Edit: I'm seeing people say that wearing two bras at the same time isn't good for you. Obviously it's not ideal and maybe not the most comfortable, but I don't see how that could actually harm you. The camp I'm currently attending has a huge dance program, so I see girls wearing two sports bras nearly every day, it's not at all uncommon here.

I had the same problem I solved it by wearing a bra without the padding and a sports bra over it but it is not very comfortable.

Apparently its not good to wear two sports bras. you should try to find one that supports you enough and thats comfortable.

for victorias secret has the wrong way to measure because the bras they make me try on are always smaller than my actual size.

Are you wearing a good brand of sports bras? Brands can play a big role in how well they support your boobs.

Also, I wouldn't say Victoria Secret measures correctly. Your best bet is to go there and see what measurements they give you, then go to a few other places and see. If you can afford it, by like one bra from each place you go to and see which one you like best after a few weeks of wearing them.

I have the same problem with bras. I'm a D cup and it's always a bit hard to find things in my size, especially supportive.

If your city has a JcPenny's or Macy's, you should go there. They will give you measurements if needed and you can find a bra that's more supportive for things like running.

Ask Victoria's for a bra fitting and then use a sports bra, When my mom and my baby sis, she was nursing and she had gotten fitted for a bra and it was actually a 36d and she thought she should have been in a 38c.

I usually wear two sports bras when I workout or run because mines will be all over the place without them. I think VS runs a bit smaller with their sizes than some other places so it would make sense that you would have to get a size up from them.

victoria secret always measures a bit low so that may be why. About running, i have the same problem and usually wear 2 bras for more support.

I don't see why it wouldn't be good, not to mention that transmen, etc. wear multiple sports bras to bind their chest all the time, and cosplayers do as well sometimes.

They don't train the workers how to correctly measure bra sizes- once I went in, and they told me I was a 32B. Walked out with a 32D.

i say to just try as many different brands and sizes and stores. thats the only way to really know what will be best for you, being informed

Would have to agree that changing brands is probably the best bet, I can't see that doubling up on sports bras is going to be very comfortable either. I don't actually have big boobs though so my advice probably isn't worth much  sorry

Try a running store. Yes they are mostly known for running shoes, but many stores will actually sell other workout gear as well. If you can find a female employee working at the store she may be able to help you find something supportive.
