so trying to not make this into a story
anyways we had this school thing where we were forced to pay for this surfing thing, and we had to change into wetsuits
beeing the boy i am i was really against the thing in general (because paying for something you dont want) and then when i heard we had to put on the wetsuits i was all like "oh HELL no" (because shy and/or insecure). The initial surfing and rowing on a surfboard were okay (despite the fact i were absolutely terrible at both)

And there he was, let's call him Aaron (yay! pichu) in my "team", as usual just beeing good at everything and at the same time not a dick which seems to be his speciality, he even helped me out because i kept falling off the boards >.< (although he wasn't *so great* at it either).

Anyways, it was fun, and UGH my crush with him grew a little more (it needs to stop) after we were done...

And we were done. We had a shower. There were 3 cabins with showers and doors and stuff :I (he closed it when he was using it :c) i just stepped under it quickly and ran out ASAP (insecure again) getting my clothes on, also ASAP (not any less insecure) only to have to wait because i didn't want to leave on my own (still shy). He came out, soaked, in boxer briefs and i died a little and the crush is terrible again and i don't know what to do!

it seems like i got over it twice already, but it kept coming back worse... the things i would do to be with him... :c

What do i do? -can- i get over it? I don't think he's interested in males, and even if he was, what kind of human entity would show interest in the monster that is "me"?

I don't know honestly, an asshole classmate of mine (the type that thinks she's queen of the world) started asking me questions about my sexuality and beeing the insecure organism i am i just answered them all, then she told me she thought this "Aaron" fellow was gay at first because of the way he acted and clothed himself, and still thinks he's not quite 100% straight... i hate her

In case he's gay, I think you should just approach him like any other person, make sure you display a kind an easy going attitude near him, because that way he can be more open and honest with you. He probably already knows you're shy and insecure, so, if he's a good person, he'll have that in consideration.

In case he's not gay, and you want to get over him, do what I usually do: focus on someone else, it doesn't matter who it is, just try to become friends with another person, and keep yourself busy and distracted, with your cats, for instance. Avoid always looking at him and noticing what he's doing, and eventually the crush you have on him will fade away.

If he's fine with it, that means he enjoys your company, and he enjoys being near you. That's a factor plus. Understand it this way: you should try to get close to him just like if you had the intention of becoming friends with him, not boyfriend or something more romantic. Then, afterwards, maybe the feelings he had for you could change. Moreover, he's fine with gay people, so you don't need to fear rejection. And you're not just a cat, you're a cute kind cat with a good personality, he must take that into account. :P
