headaches

on wednesday night i snorted some hydocodone and since then ive had a pounding headache that wont go away unless i take more hydrocodone (which gets me high....).... and im wondering if maybe when i snorted it it did something to cause the headaches maybe?

I've Snorted Hydrocodone about 3 different times on occasions. The first time the aftereffect was a major headache... And I just simply waited it out. I took Advil and stuff to calm down the headache.. And just doing more to stop the headache is worse. The other times I snorted Hydrocodone I didn't really get a headache. Uhm I'm not saying do it but if you do smoke other drugs like Marijuana maybe that might ease some pain? I don't no dude. If this continues and gets to the extreme point go see a Doctor..

Vicodin? For a headache? Look, Vicodin is a real-life painkiller, and a rather addictive one at that. Have you tried plain old Advil or Excedrin yet? I'd do that, try to get some sleep, and wait it out.

i know what vicodin is... ive taken it many times.... i thought it might help and not make it worse over all.... idk :/

i took exedrin with caffeine in it, and it make me all shaky, and it brought up my heart rate and i felt anxious and nervous the entire time and i hated it so i wont be taking that again.... but if the headache happens again and i cant get a hold of vicodin ill just have to take more hydrodone cuz ibuprofen doesnt work.

....wow.... just wow. Unbelievable that people are so misinformed about the drugs they're taking.

Here's what happened: you hit withdrawal. You took hydrocodone via a fast-administering route, and as a result had a quick high and quick come-down. That's the headache. Opiate withdrawal is a bitch.

Now, taking Vicodin is the absolute worst thing you could do. You know why? Because Vicodin is hydrocodone. With a little bit of ibuprofen (the NSAID that is contained in Advil) added in. So of course it makes you feel better - you're just satisfying the withdrawal!

Unless you really have a burning desire to become a hollow-eyed Vicodin/hydrocodone addict, I'd suggest you cut off the use and just deal with the headache this time around, because what you're describing (and your mindset for dealing with it) is the first step down the road to serious ddiction.

yeah i figured that out... i decided not to use vicodin.... and so my headache eventually got better but it still comes back once in a while.. ok thanks

Hmm well it would go after time... main thing I want to say is don't snort anything. If you really want to get high smoke weed, but obviously this isn't the best of ideas either.

Go to your doctor and tell them what you have done, they will be able to advise you the best.

No, thats very weird. I've only done oxycodone(which is basically the same, but better ^^)
Yea, i never get headaches from it. But, yea, the headaches could be coming from something else, or your body quickly gained a need for it causing withdrawal.
Don't become dependent on it, or you'll get owned by it later, opiate withdrawal can be horrible(I've witnessed it before, although its never happened to me :) )

I highly advise not to do it more than twice a week, and take 2 or 3 weeks off of it every once in a while.
if you've already been at it for a week or two, quit for a while. I'm sure you feel your dependency and tolerance building...so yea
