My mom came into my room one day well I was doing homework and she handed me a dildos. She told me she would rather see me using that then she walking in on me with a boy. So my question is it weird for a 16 year old girl to have one and do other of you girl own one and if you do how many and what type?

I think your mother did something very responsible, and something I plan on doing if I ever have a daughter. Once she turns 16 I plan on having that conversation with her and giving her the option if she wants one. I have two now, I'm 18 and bought it after I turned 18 since it was easier. It is definitely NOT weird to have one at 16, it's very healthy for you to learn to not rely on a boy for sexual pleasure. This will give you the opportunity to experiment with yourself and learn more about your body. You need to learn more about your body before you can begin to have sex with a boy, that way you know what you do and don't like. I have 2 right now, one is a simple purple 8 inch rubber dildo and the other is 11 inches with a suction cup and flesh colored with the added balls on the bottom, it's more realistic.
