Got caught

Last night I was caught underage drinking by the police and they phoned my parents and got them to pick me up etc. It isn't going on my criminal record since it was my first offense which is good, but when I got home my parents didn't seem mad at all really and told me it was ok because people make mistakes in there life, then this morning they where being complete c**ts about it and started trying to take my phone etc and its really pissed me off that they first said it was ok then they are being like this. ¬.¬

What probably happened was last night, they were probably tired, depending on how late it was and they really didn't want to get into a fight over drinking, plus if you had drank enough, you might have been drunk, and it's really not such a good idea to piss someone off when they're drunk.

I hadn't drank much at all really, and it was only around 7 or 8 pm

You're parents had every right to punish you. If they didn't that night, they might have been trying to figure out the best way to go about it. They understand that you're not perfect, and you're going to do dumb shit sometimes, but also that you're going to continue to do dumb shit unless there are reprimands for your actions.

I'm sorry but you were drinking, you deserve to be disciplined in some way by your parents as you aren't disciplined by the law yet.

Don't expect them to be okay with this. When my mom found out I used to smoke, all hell broke loose.
