Anyone had an STD test?

I was wondering if any other guys have had an std test? How'd they do the test?

I haven't had a std test persay, but I've only had two sexual partners (one being a slut, and I hate to use that word because it is so judgemental, and I am not like that. But I discovered at the age of 14, he had well over 50 partners). Anyway, I had glandular fever (guess who gave me that) and the doctor added pretty much all of the blood tests. Including HIV. My mother thought it was ridiculous that he do that, but he said "he wanted to be safe". My mum did not even consider I had become sexually active (Not something I am proud of). But anyway, with social medicine here, they like to save time when they test for one thing but testing for everything. So, I might not have had all the tests, but I know I don't have HIV and I have never had any symptom or anything.

Anyway, if you ask the doctor to do an all round test and you have no symptoms, they will take some blood, and usually a urine sample. They can also take a penile swab (for men obviously) but it's not like sticking anything up there. Just like wiping the tip of a cotton ud over the top of the penis. Harmless.

As embarrassing as it is, I would advise you get tested if you feel the need to get tested. And for the future, don't be silly, wrap your willy! (I know, that's terrible)

I have, I got blood drawn and a swab. it's not that bad, unless you're like me and absolutely hate needles.

i had to get one once when i was having a problem they thought might be an STD (it wasn't, and it was kiiinda impossible for me to have gotten one :rolleyes:). my doc just took my penis and squeezed the end a little so the hole opened up, then he stuck a long cotton swab in and twisted it. i think he only went in about an inch or so, but still stung like hell.
