I guess what they were saying was that even during/after anal sex, if cum somehow manages to get inside your vag, then there is a chance you can get pregnant. That's pretty much widely-known. But if the cum stays entirely inside your ass, never getting inside your vag, I can't imagine how you would get preg.

I don't know if guys can get UTI from anal, but condoms are probably a good idea for both you and the guy.
