Please help. for minecraft

If any one has moded around with minecraft a bit. can you please help. i need to get the optifine.zip but on the website it just hase the .jar witch is a launcher. its anying. i cant find the bugger

I haven't done this in like forever, but try to Google for the zip in the minecraft forum, I know for a fact it's somewhere in the official optifine thread. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll send it to you from my PC

Isn't there a tutorial for how to install a .jar version of it?

Surely if they have released a .jar there should be a way to install it?

every damn place i go it says to put the .class files in the minecraft.jar witch is the correct way to do it but every link i go to its a damn .jar and it the installer. even chames sent me to a .jar . god this so so fusterating to just find a stupid file. iv probably been looking for 4 hours now

well this is a little while later. i now realised how to do it...... but do any of you guys have expirence with feed the beast mod packs? i cant find the minecraft.jar file. usaly its in the bin folder or in the 1.6.4 its in the virsions folder but nether are there

it should be on the bin folder. are you on .minecraft\Bin? Try typing minecraft.jar on your start menu search bar

feed the beast works differently.
seance 1.6.4 there is no longer bin folders. its now called vision where the minecraft.jar is located.

found it and optifine will not work with all the giant orgy of mods.
