What workouts would you reccomend for a dude who's thinking about trying out for the swim team at school next school year?

A lot of swimming? lol


I'm not sure what specific workout would help with swimming. But I would say a lot of running. Having good cardio always helps. Especially when you have to do a lot of it like treading water.

Anything cardio and endurance based. That's a lot of what we did for workouts for my team.

I'd say to get a good mix of speed and distance swim workouts. It depends really on what you intend on swimming if you get in the team.

Make sure that you're technique is up to scratch as well, so include plenty of kick and pull drills when you're in the pool

biking, strenk in legs and stamina are very important
also lifting yourself up

Well a lot of swimming so your body gets used to it. Also lots of cardio and endurance work.
