Gumball3000 2014

Howdy! Most of you, who like cars, probably know that Gumball rally has started once again! (If you're not familiar with the schedule: Miami-Atlanta-Charlotte-NYC-Edinburgh-Manchester-London-Paris-Barcelona-Ibiza).
So if you live in one of these towns, you should take some cheeky pictures and post them here :) But if you don't live anywhere near these places, tell me what you think about this rally, the whole concept of it, share some cool pictures you found on the internet, videos, etc. Well, basically post anything related to Gumball :D

I'm not along the Gumball route, but last year the Goldrush rally started in SF and I went to the hotel they were starting at and got tons of photos and videos of all the cars. Veyron SS, Aventadors, Mclarens, everything was there. It was awesome. I even got a video of an Aventador having a rev battle with a Ferrari F430.

I never followed it because I race it in a simulator, but i find it cool, I just don't like some of the drivers being smartasses. If you know SaabKyle04, he's racing this year :D

There is one similar called the Mongol rally, London to Mongolia, engine size limited to 1L, the more inappropriate the car the better. Say and ice cream van is perfect, butr a 4x4 is against the rules. Its a rally designed to be stupid and difficult and fun,

I'm just back from Edinburgh where they all stopped, was pretty fucking epic. I got to stroke the velvet Rolls Royce! The McLaren was beautiful as well. Was a good day out I wasn't expecting to be in touching distance to the cars.

Yeah man, they are in Manchester now, Edinburgh was this morning. The P1 it was insanely beautiful. Pretty much every car there was amazing. The Purrari never showed though unfortunately!

Edit: I'm putting some photos on an instagram account I don't have connected to Facebook and don't use much so I'm safe posting the name on here. Have a look at nickberry17 on ig if you want to see some pics of them.

I thought they'd switch cars after flying over the Atlantic... That would explain the absence of Purrari. Not the others though, because Daytona, Reventon, The strange race-car-looking-thing you posted on Ig whose name I can't remember, were all there... Hmmm... Nice pics though ^^ That P1 sure does take your breath away... and money... and even electricity :D

P.S. I saw the first picture in your Instagram (black car with MASSIVE silencers) and got 2 questions:
1. Is this yours?
2. Is this the 2nd generation MR2? :D

Haha yeah that's daisy, same one that has the picture with flames coming out its actually like British Racing Green. She's my weekend car, a mk2 jap import, only the g-limited not the turbo though. The fn2 type r is my daily.

Does it have automatic or manual transmission? 'Cause if I remember correctly, automatic came as standard, didn't it?

She's a manual, only a 5 speed as well which I found disappointing.

Agreed. Its such a unique sound. Especially with the ridiculous amount of turbo whistle on the Agera range, it sounds sooooooo awesome.

Well yeah, there are better sounding V8's than V12's, but in this case Lambo sounds just a bit better. I really like Jag's F-type V8 sound <3 Fricking gorgeous :D
