I could grow a full beard if I wanted when I was 16, and honestly, I just really don't like it at all. There are people that can only develop facial when they are like 20 years old, and maybe that's your case, you're a late bloomer, but there's nothing wrong with it. You'll grow facial hair eventually, don't worry.

It depends on when your hormones and everything kick in. Ihave actual hair growing on my chin now but its not alot but you can see it. My friend gage is the same age as I am and h has a beard that he keeps shaved down so it doesn't grow out.

There is no average, really. I'm almost 19 and I'm still pretty patchy. To be honest, there's plenty of fully-grown men who can't grow facial hair either. There's really no way of knowing if you can grow one, or when you'll be able to.

I want a beard too! But all I have it short hair on my upper lip, light whispy hair on the sides of my face and one thick black hair that grew out of my cheek at some point.
Unfortunately, for most people, a full beard doesn't come in until like 20.

For Typhlosion; there is no real average (only estimates) but even if there was, it would be of no use, because it's this mystic thing called "puberty" that is different everytime.
For now i'm just going to tell you to not worry about it (because you shouldn't) but i'll also have to tell you i'm no qualified doctor and you might have to worry about it. I'm growing these awkward chin hairs too alongside some hair on my upper lip at the age of 14, so yeah...

Same. I'm sporting a damn Nazi moustache so have to shave daily to avoid gettin arrested

For alot of guys it doens't happen untill later adult years, just like alot of other body hair.
It runs in my family too, my bro is almost 18 and he has no facial hair.

I've got the same problem. At 18 I haven't yet grown a full beard. Guess i'll have to wait
