Well, mine caught me jerking off once, so now they always knock before entering....not a suggestion but it works....

You could just say "I'm getting a lot older these days, perhaps a good idea to start knocking before you enter". That may get the message across.

I used to put a stopper behind my door. They could get it open about 10 centimeters before it would catch - so basically gave me warning time.

After my mom walked into my door a few times from it, she got the message and decided I needed a lock.

Well Idk , I can't sleep naked in my house because there is no privacy in here. Also my door died so I have to have it fixed

Even though I usually sleep in underwear, I have the same worry. In boxers, sometimes my morning boner sticks out the fly, and in boxerbriefs sometimes it peeks out the waistband. Fortunately my bedroom is upstairs and usually my mom just yells up the stairs rather than coming up, but I'm always a little worried that someone will see it, especially in summer when I might not have covers over me.

yeah just "i need a little more privacy" is all it should take. I solved the problem by walking in on my parents too much, so that's when a knock before you open a door policy went into effect. part of enforcing it is them following it themselves.

I would just ask them to knock before they enter, trust me, your dad will know what you're doing, and probably your mom will too

Haha... thats one way I suppose. But seriously you could use a "please knock" sign if you want privacy and don't want to have that awkward conversation with a parent.

Locking the door helps. I think that should be a 'subtle' hint that you'd prefer some privacy. When I did it, nobody asked any questions, it was just accepted.

Just ask them to knock on your door before coming in. It helps. And if they are too stupid to remember: Put a sign on your door :D

Well, now that it's summer, just tell your parents that you wanna wake up when you wake up and tell them not to wake you up and so when you DO wake up, you can get dressed and then leave your room.

I sleep naked now. I used to feel really scared about sleeping naked for the fear of bieng caught. However, I started sleeping shirtless for a month or two, which made my parents start knocking before they came in, and also it made me more comfortable with wearing less clothes at night. I then went from shirtless to naked. The first week was a bit awkward and anxious, but after that I wasn't worried at all. My parents have probably walked in to wake me up one morning and seen me fully nude, but hey, not exactly like they don't know what a naked guy looks like..!

I remember sleeping naked by accident and my mom ripped the covers off and saw me naked.

Just wear some boxers, that is what I do.

I dont do it often but when I do its not a big deal. My mom quite coming to wake us up for school a few years ago so now its up to my dad. I we are sleeping naked and he walks in, its not an issue. He comes in to wake us up an leaves. Never had to ask permission or anything.
