Last summer i lost 30 pounds from 230 to 200. I was probably about 6 foot at the end of the summer, and ive gained nearly 40 lbs but you cant really tell, ive gotten taller though, im 6 foot 4 or 6 foot 3 now. Is me getting taller enough to negate the looks of the weight gain?

as long as you're bmi is good.
Do a BMI calculation and see where that gets you.
I weigh about 150 lbs and I am about your height, but I'm on the skinny side , so you sound pretty average but you may want to calculate BMI.

BMI is not a useful tool in determining how healthy your weight is. The BMI is meant as a general guideline for people with an average body composition, nothing else. A bodybuilder will almost always get an "overweight" BMI, for example.
Your body fat percentage can tell us a lot more.
