So you've probably heard about this one. Google made a prototype of a self driving car. It's a pretty cool concept in my opinion, but WHY, OH WHY did they have to make that thing so ugly?

It's neat though. I've always seen them driving around and on the freeways and I think it's a great idea. Needs work? Yes. Cool? Yes!

It's a godamn prototype. Of a automatic car.

If these become a thing, luxury cars will be last to adopt the technology, heck, the point of the car is for driving.
Or, maybe all-terrain cars. They can't go automatic.
Or, racing cars.
Or...

It's a concept that is hard to implement out of the city. Plus, since it's a prototype, you wouldn't want to put all your rescources on something that isn't working yet, aye?

PLUS, the whole 'mini car' is kinda a trend noone really likes I suppose.

Maybe it's "distinctive" (aka ugly) looking so that other people around it will immediately recognize it as one of those self driven cars. I think I heard somewhere that it's mostly intended for people that aren't able to drive themselves, like disabled or elderly people. From that perspective, it sounds really cool.

Apart from this being used as a car for those who cannot drive for special needs reasons, I don't like this at all.
