There's a guy in my class that I have known for 7 years but we only became close friends this year until a month ago. He stopped talking to me one day without me doing nothing (as far as I know). I tried to say "hi" sometimes but he didn't even answer me so I stopped trying to talk to him and I thought that maybe one day he will confront me and tell me what made him stop talking to me but he hasn't so far. And what really worries me is that he does talk to me to ask about homework or school stuff but that's all. So I think he just behaves with me like a simple classmate now. Anyway today it's his birthday and some friends are throwing him a surprise party and told me to come to try becoming friends again but I'm afraid that it will not please him to see me there if he really wants to stop befriending me. So what should I do? Should I try picking up the pieces in this birthday?

I think you should go to the party, his friends invited you so it's not like you're an intruder or something. Try to talk to him when he's alone and see if you become friends again. You deserve an explication about why he stopped talking to you anyway.

My advice is to go to the party...greet him with a sweet smile and have a great time with him. ;)
It should be a nice day...

You should go to the party, it would show him that you still care about him, and maybe strengthen your relationship with him.

That's awesome! Did he tell you why he stopped talking to you?

It's really a silly story :p
It turned out that he didn't mean to ignore me this much we was just mad at for a day after he thought I was cheating while we were playing at a game. I took it badly and I didn't talk to him too so he thought that I was mad at him. Anyway I suggested that we forget what had happened and that we move forward.
