Optimism has been my go to coping mechanism lately. but recently I'm having trouble being optimistic. I can't go back down the wrong path because I know the damage that I'm capable of... I can't tare myself apart again, I just can't.

I know how you feel,
when I feel down I feel less and less optimistic.
At some point you just need someone to show you that things can go in the right direction.
It may sound strange but when I feel like this I watch a movie or read a book that shows the good things in life and humanity.

Hey :)
I know just how you feel. I have trouble being optimistic as well.
At some point you just have to let go, and just do, eventually you'll see thing can go wrighht. And that they WILL go right in the end.
I do the same as cheeses and just watch a film or book that shows good is capable of happening

I guess, but it's hard you know? it's like I do things to distract myself from the problem but when I do face the problem I realize that I'm a disappointment, just alone in the bitterness.
