Has anyone here gotten their appendix removed?

I had to get mine removed last January. I was able to return home after two days in the hospital, but it took a while before I was able to go back to school. The pain after the surgery really hurts and stings.

I can't imagine having surgery, but I'd I had to I would just have to put up with it. I haven't had my appendix removed.

I had my appendix removed when I was 7 years old. Apparently I was a tough one and was out of the hospital the day after the surgery cause I was perfectly fine. It wasn't sore really for me, but I guess everyone's different.

yeah my doctor explained to me that some people's systems over react to surgery as if they had been severely injured. it's like how some people's systems over react to pollen with bad allergies.

I had a bit of my toenail removed because it kept infecting. It hurt like they ripped the damned thing out after the surgery. Had to pop painkillers for two days, because it hurt like the NKVD interrogation. They would take pliers and rip out nails and toenails if you don't confess.

I had my appendix removed two years ago or so, I was in the hospital for I think 3 days; I actually didn't have to much pain, I had very minimal pain that day and somehow I managed to go to school. The only pain that was that bad was getting my bandages changed and whenever I laughed it hurt.
