Sorry if this is long...

Yesterday I had a bad nosebleed during school and I have no idea why it happened. It happened out of nowhere, at least to me. The thing that I found strange is that I hardly ever get nosebleeds, ever.

The only kind of nosebleed I get is something very small. I don't know if this is weird or not, but anytime I wipe my nose with a tissue, a small amount of blood can appear, but I usually brush it off as something not important.

But anyways, yesterday that was happening to me, but it didn't seem so bad. I had a cold at this point so my nose was already running. So, during 2nd period, all of the sudden I felt a sudden drop of mucus. So I was like "alright" I got my portable tissue thingies and blew my nose. I looked at it, and there was a bit more blood. Again, brushing it off because I didn't really care.

But then it happened again. It was fast so I was confused. So, I grabbed another tissue, wiped my nose, and looked at it. Nothing but blood. And I was like "oh fuck". I didn't want to make a scene with blowing my nose so soon it ended up all over my hands and sweatshirt. It was not pretty, at all. Soon my friend turned around and said, "Oh my god you have a bloody nose" and I was like "shh" because I really didn't want anyone to notice. So, while half covering my face so my teacher wouldn't notice, I asked him if I could go to the bathroom. I washed up and it stopped.

This was so weird to me. And a bit scary. Not at all scared about the blood, more about why the fuck it happened and I didn't want people seeing. Not letting people see was the main idea to me. No need for all that attention.

Happy that it stopped, I went to 3rd period. That's when it happened again, during the end of the period. I was sitting near a girl I barely know, but that's nothing to worry about. It started happening again and I was like "aw shit" I got a tissue but it continued. I really didn't want the girl to know, but too late. "Do you have a bloody nose?" she asked, concerned. "No... maybe... yeah" as my reply, and she was all concerned like telling me to get tissues and go to the nurse and blah blah blah.

I told her to keep quiet about it, and luckily she did. But it stopped soon and never happened again.

Keep in mind I never get bloody noses. That was like the 2nd or 3rd time in my entire life. I didn't get hit in the head or anything like that, it just... happened. I was curious to know what caused it? Did the cold have something to do with it? Just something that happens? I'm a bit confused here.

The cold might have something to do with it. I am not entirely sure, but I do believe that humidity and the cold are playing tricks with you, causing nosebleeds occasionally

It could of course be that it was because of the cold....maybe the inner parts of your nose where just sore from from sneezing, blowing your nose or so...this can happen.

I used to have random nosebleeds a year ago, but they were always connected to headaches...it was something with my blood pressure the doc told me. I got this from some meds I had to take back then, the doc took them away and the nosebleeds stopped.

So yeah, if it does happen more frequently even with just small amounts I'd advice you to see a doctor ... random nosebleeds can be serious.
