Move On

In my country, if you have a girlfriend/boy and you and with him/her. You must move on. In move on you must have a new girlfriend. And the last week I has ended. But until now, I have not girlfriend. Now my last girlfriend have a new boyfriend. I think I can't move on and she can move on.
What your opinion about that?
