Boxers themselves will not hide away an erection. The actual pants you wear however could... Depending on what you wear ex. jeans... Though erections are not something to be embarrassed about... And I doubt people will be blatantly looking at your crotch... Though as stated before, other underwear choices can help... If nothing else does...

I wear boxer briefs and if i get a boner i just reajust or pull my shirt down as they are better than normal boxers
