I have been dating my boyfriend for four months now and I want to have sex with him but I'm not sure if he's ready. Is there a way I can ask him while not scaring him if he's not?

I would ask him if he is ready to be more intimate with you and tell him how you feel about wanting to take things to that level. I don't think a boy your age would necessary be scared ( he is probaly thinking about it). Just make sure if you two do decided to do it use protection and be safe about it.
