After years of saving and waiting, I have made myself a 3D gaming set up. Currently my brother is paying Theif (the new one) at 50fps in 3D on a 42 inch TV. I must say, 3D gaming is absolutely amazing :)

Have any of you played a game in 3D? If so, what did you think of it?

I haven't but it sounds like a fun time. Like playing titanfall in 3D that would be really sick.

Never done it, seems awesome! Just wondering, do the games need to be specially made for 3D? Like can I plug in my laptop to our 3D TV with HDMI and just play a game on 3D?

Sort of. A lot of 3D TV's will have 2D too 3D conversion built in. However it has different degrees of effectivness. Sometimes its great, sometimes its not noticeable.

And yep, a lot of games are made with 3D comparability built in these days, for instance, the new Thief game has 3D support built in so it looks great, however not all games support 3D.
