I've been delaying coming out mostly because there's still a part of me that's still questioning. Now that I'm turning 18 I'm planning on doing some online dating.

I know that it's safer if my friends and family know who I'm dating and where. I'm okay if my mom knows who I'm dating, but I'm not too crazy about my step dad or sister finding out. Don't even get me started on my step sisters, if they find out everyone in my life (and some people I don't even know) will know I'm dating a girl.

I don't want people to find out I'm dating a girl because I just don't want people to ask me invasive questions. I haven't really labelled my sexuality, so I really don't want to be asked anything about it. I could tell people I'm "questioning", but I really want to wait until I'm 110% sure of myself.

Yeah, definitely video chat before you meet. And when you meet try to meet somewhere public like a coffee house, mall, popular park etc.
