I'm 17, going into college next year, never had a girlfriend, and I feel like everyone at college had already been in a relationship in high school. I feel like I'd be the only one left out on this experience, and I don't know if it would be awkward kissing someone the first time in college. A friend of mine in highschool told me to kiss her on the cheek during lunch, in the courtyard, I got close, but I couldn't kiss because I was that shy, especially in public.

Don't worry about not having a girlfriend, honey. I had my first relationship in college, and know both tons of people that kissed/had sex at like fourteen, but some just have no experience at all. I never liked none of the boys of my high school, let alone want to date any of them. It'll happen when you met the right girl, and I actually think it's more easy to find someone in college, there's just so much people.

I was 15 when I had my first kiss (not counting childhood shenanigans). It was in the high-school auditorium after band practice ended. I had no idea what I was doing and I was caught off guard and I kind of screamed a little bit. It was one of the most awkward things I've ever done, and I've had my fair share of cringe-worthy events.

Don't feel pressured to do something you don't want to do. Just do what feels right to you. It doesn't have to be a serious kiss, but you shouldn't feel like you have to kiss any girl just to get experience. You'll pick it up quickly with practice, and the girl that likes you back won't mind helping you practice.
