Pill advice please

Hi guys,

I was at a party last night and ended up having sex with one of the guys. He came inside me and we did not use a condom but I take the birth control pill.

Later in the evening I was sick from the Alcohol, I just wondered if Im ok or if it would affect the pill?

Alcohol does not diminish the effectiveness of the pill. Now if you took the pill with alcohol then yes it could, just like any other drug. Hope this helped

If you were sick shortly after taking the pill, say within an hour, I think there is a significant risk that it could be ineffective. Is there a medical professional you can talk to this morning? They may recommend taking another pill, or using emergency contraception. Like the vast majority of people on VT, I'm certainly not qualified to advise you but here in the UK there are many places to get support - including a local pharmacy.

No , and in fact, the pill will just enable you to get drunk quicker.

as long as you take your pill correctly, then you should be ok
but if in doubt you can always take plan B

You should be ok but the real problem is the risk of having HIV. After 3 months you should take a medical exam.

I don't know where u are from but you should really go see a doctor/nurse who can give you the best advice and quickly. The sooner you go the better you should get an STI test done also
