(I think I put this in the right place, it seemed to fit in this board the most XD )
Hey everyone! I am doing my art final, and we have to put a spin on one of the projects we did this semester. So, I am doing a Found Object project, but with "found words". I have a great idea, but I'm going to need your help.
All I need you to do is send me a message (or just post here), pertaining to my theme, “What I Wish I Could Say…” It doesn’t need to be too long, a sentence or two, and I would like you to write like if you were writing a letter to a person in your life, or was once in your life. To your parents, a friend, a more-than-friend, an enemy, teacher, mentor, anyone. Write something you wish you had said, something you’re too scared to say, anything along those lines. You can get your anger out, or tell someone how much they mean to you.
This would be entirely anonymous. I am hoping to get at least 40 submissions, so please pass it around. I want this to be really cool!
I only have a few guidelines that I ask you to follow:
Keep it short- around 10 lines max. It’s no big deal if you go over a bit, but I can’t use essays. It would be cool to receive varied lengths. One sentence can be very powerful.
Keep it clean- this is a school project, so please refrain from profanity or inappropriate language. PG. Words like crap, can be used in schools, so that is okay, but you can’t tell someone to visit Hades or drop the f-bomb. Sexual references are also off-limits.
Spite- it is okay to write in spite, tell off someone you wish you could, but you cannot tell someone to kill themselves, or that their parents wish they weren’t born, or anything along those lines. Remember, no one, NO one, deserves to die.
Names- you can use the first name of the person you are writing to if you would like, but for the sake of anonymity, no last names.
Creativity- Feel free to get creative! If you have photos, art, etc, that goes along with your writing, feel free to send them too! If you wrote it as a poem, that’s great!
Thank you all so much, and I’ll post a photo of it when I am done! (if you would like me to personally notify you when I am done, just let me know)
