I was wondering if it would be possible to add an option to get a notification once a new post is posted on a subscribed thread. I don't use my email much so it'd be cool to be able to follow threads from inside VT.

I guess I'm making a lot of suggestions :P

Select no email notifications. The thread will appear in your UCP once a new post has been made.

We already have quote notifications when someone replies specifically to you. Normally, I'd say that would suffice, but we really need this implemented. I actually would like to know when anyone replies to the thread itself, even if it isn't directed towards me.

I agree, that would be awesome.

The thread does appear in my UCP, but surely isn't there a way of making notifications for that?
Also, It wasn't obvious at all that I could subscribe without subscribing to email.

We have a mod installed for notifications that is pivotal to moderation, installing another mod that uses the same menu may interfere with that one, and the mod we already have installed is not going to be removed. There is a mod that does what you're suggesting, but it uses many queries, which is server intensive, and there is still the chance it may interfere with the mod we already have installed. I'll have to check it out further.
