In my time on VT I have become accustomed to the usual artwork that goes with every user to tell us there site status "500+", "Admin", " Banned" and so on and so forth.
But today I found a new one and I'm not sure what it means.
Its the one that says "Frozen", what does it mean has happened to that user, and what would one do to end up in this state of what in presume is pergetory.

Basically it means that the user has been infracted and is "temporarily banned", so to speak.

A member gets frozen if they have accumulated a certain level of points due to too much infractions, or if they're waiting to be banned for a certain reason (though it's probably not the case because Global Mods are quick enough to ban them). It can also happen that, if you join while being less than 13 years old, you get frozen until you complete your thirteenth anniversary.

I believe you can be frozen if you have been given two or three infractions for the same thing or it could be within a certain time frame. In the event this happens I believe you're frozen for one week. You can also be frozen for having an infraction point level over 70 and you get unfrozen when one of your infraction expire.

You can also request to be frozen if you need a break from the site.

In that case, you could just put something in your signature saying "I'm taking a temporary break from the site and I'll be back in a while."

I don't think your signature shows up when you're frozen, even if it is requested.

The signature is removed when frozen, even if requested I believe.
You could put a VM up on your wall stating you're taking time off.
