Hey,
So when you guys buy a game do you try and do all the trophies/achievements or just let it happen naturally?

I let it happen. Being an achievement hunter takes all the fun out, lol. It's all about the journey, not the destination. :D

True, I generally let it happen then I'll go back.
Eh I did that with Infamous Second Son.
I did the game naturally and then went back and got the ones I missed and because I had to do a second playthrough.

Yup, I'm the same way. 100% completion makes me feel like a great human being. :P

I dunno, Resogun, doing that platinum kind of killed me.

I make sure to finish the single player first, and then I jump to achievement hunting, and if it's multiplayer only (which is a rare case for a game purchase of mine) I'll probably jump straight into achievement hunting as it usually takes time in multiplayer games.

I never care about achievements since when i play games i just want to have fun.
Hard goals are not fun. Theyre annoying.

Yeah haha. I have 54,000 points (Xbox). My friend is a beast and has 160,000!

I always need to get trophies. I am very meticulous about perfecting my games. I've almost got platinum on Katamari Forever, and I've had my PS3 less than a month.
And I didn't even start on Katamari Forever  I've just played it that much.

The only trophy hogging I've ever been guilty of was around the time I bought LittleBigPlanet. The PS3trophies website really pissed me off, a lot of people used it, and I cheated to get 80 hearts instead of the 50 "which was the maximum" and still no one looks at my levels. It's like on instagram with the stupid TagsForLikes app people use to advertise their photos with completely unrelated hashtags, i hate it but it doesn't stop me from doing it anyway...

PS3trophies website.....I never really liked them, I tend to use http://www.playstationtrophies.org/
Personally I've found someone who does guides quite well PS4trophiesgaming.com but he only covers recent 'big' titles because he's a one production team.

It's like my favourite part of a game. The only game I've ever got all the achievements for though is Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition. :(

I will play through a game, and if I like it enough, I will go through again, and again....and again. Until eventually I have all the trophies.
Some are impossible yo get without things like multiplayer that I can't use for some reason or another, or a map pack you "need". If it is actually impossible then I will ignore them. But for the most part I will get 100% ifni like a game

Truly, I play games to finish the main story, then go back and do side missions, and then scrape up any achievements I missed along the way. So I guess you could say I am a hunter, but I'm not at the same time...
