My little brother is always watching Frozen and singing the songs! It's so annoying. Plus he always talks and yells in his sleep. I don't know if he thinks he's dreaming about soccer but it wakes me up at night and I just want to go to sleep sometimes I can't because of him. We share a room so I'm stuck with him.

I have a little brother that I share a room with too. From what I can tell, it seems like you're just getting too easily upset though.

Does he yell in his sleep that wakes you up?

No, that is a bit strange. But if it is such a problem, see if you can have your sleeping arrangements changed.

Have you talked to your parents about this? If so, what did they say?

Well, he's little, about 5 or so if I remember correctly what you said somewhere else? So that he loves this movie and singing is quite normal I'd say...I understand that it can be annoying but I guess we were all like that when we were little.

The screaming in his sleep is weir, though is it normal dreams or nightmares or what...cuz that seems unusual for normal dreams if you ask me...have you talked to your parents about it? How often does this occur? Maybe there's something more serious than dreaming about soccer?

Apart from that, your housing situation doesn't allow for you two having seperate rooms? Or at least some place where you have some quiet if you need to study or so?

Sorry, that's all I can think of but I don't have any siblings so I don't really know how best to deal with then.

i'd ask your parents to take him to a doctor. Maybe he has night terrors. They can really fuck you up and scar you as a kid :/
so it's best to try to get him help soon.

I'm assuming he's fairly young right?

So its normal for him to be loud and annoying to you lol.

However I'd actually speak to your parents about the talking in sleep etc as that might be something to look into. Believe you me I know what's its like to have an annoying younger sibling, my sister used to annoy me a lot when I was growing up, even though there in only a year and a half between us age wise.

I suggest getting a pair of head phones for anything you have that'll play music. I had to share a room with my sister, a couple years back, and she would wake me up cause she talked in her sleep. As for singing, my sister does this constantly and will sometimes play music while she sings which shows how bad she is and how off-tune she is. And yes, she also sings songs from frozen. Best of luck.

I sleep alone, so I can't help you there. My little sister would usually start playing music and singing which is horrible, I played hardcore metal on the loudspeakers. It even pissed my dad ofd who is not anti-metal.

Well I've told them he's loud! But they say just let him be. And his sleep they say he's just restlest because he says he doesnt remember yelling.

He usually does it almost every night he'll yell and talk like moaning and trying to say things. What could be more serious? Like he could be sick? It's just us in a room and there isn't an extra one just for me. I do my homework on the dinner table.

i'd ask your parents to take him to a doctor. Maybe he has night terrors. They can really fuck you up and scar you as a kid :/

What are night terrors the same as nightmares? He says he doesn't remember yelling or talking if I ask him in the morning.

Ok I'll ask my parents again. They just think it's normal but they sleep with there door closed so they don't hear the full sound when he does it.

No! If I mess with him he's going to tell on me and then I'll be the one who gets punished. I don't need that. And it's mean. I don't know about earplugs but we'll see about that.

nightmares are just bad dreams.
Night terrors is the condition in which a person wakes up from sleep extremely frightened.

"During night terror bouts, patients are usually described as "bolting upright" with their eyes wide open and a look of fear and panic on their face. They will often scream. Furthermore, they will usually sweat, exhibit rapid respiration, and have a rapid heart rate (autonomic signs). In some cases, individuals are likely to have even more elaborate motor activity, such as a thrashing of limbs—which may include punching, swinging, or fleeing motions. There is a sense that the individual is trying to protect himself and/or escape from a possible threat which threatens bodily injury.[5] Although children may seem to be awake during a night terror, they will appear confused, be inconsolable and/or unresponsive to attempts to communicate with them, and may not recognize others familiar to them. Occasionally, when a person with a night terror is awakened, he will lash out at that person, which can be dangerous for that individual.[3] Most people who experience this disorder are amnesic, or partially amnesic from the incident the next day.[2] Sleepwalking is another predisposition for the disorder.[4][9] Sleepwalking and night terrors are different manifestations of the same parasomnia disorder."

Well he kicks which is why I think he's dreaming about soccer but that thing says punching ,swinging and fleeing motions. And he is "unresponsive" when I tell him to stop yelling and be quite. That's what he has from that big paragraph. I'm going to tell my mom about it but should I say anything to my brother first? I don't want him to get scared even though he's little and dumb haha.

How old is he? If he's 5-7 ur gunna have to deal with it sadly, little kids are like that. If he's older, try discussing with him how his singing the Frozen songs irritates u. GL
