Hi.
I am 13 and started puberty a couple of months before my 13th birthday (so I started about 6 months ago).
I have a few questions about puberty:
1. When do you usually start growing clearly visible armpit hair + facial hair?
2. When does the penis start growing/get bigger?
3. When does arm, chest and leg hair get darker and thicker?
4. When your voice breaks does it keep getting deeper?
5. What age does puberty usually stop?
6. Is there usually a sort of competition between boys about how fast they develop?
7. Do girls care about when boys start puberty?
8. Can you completely stop spots/acne from happening?
9. Is it gay to talk about yourself and how your body has changed with other boys?
10. Does puberty affect boys differently?
Thanks if you can answer them, can you please put what the question number is before answering them.

1. When do you usually start growing clearly visible armpit hair + facial hair?
Different for everyone. ALot of guys get some fuz on their face first, but it's really different for everyone. Some guys like me don't get armpit hair untill they are 20.
2. When does the penis start growing/get bigger?
From the start of puberty, but growth rate differs from time to time.
3. When does arm, chest and leg hair get darker and thicker?
Most guys start around the age of 14.5, but it doesn't get dark untill the end of puberty. (Again, not always the case, but usualy)
4. When your voice breaks does it keep getting deeper?
Not sure what you mean here. Voice breaking is always a sign of a voice getting deeper, if that's what you mean.
5. What age does puberty usually stop?
For women around 17 for men around 21
6. Is there usually a sort of competition between boys about how fast they develop?
onsciously and subconsciously
7. Do girls care about when boys start puberty?
Dunno,girls are a mystery :P
8. Can you completely stop spots/acne from happening?
No, however staying hygenic with your hands and face and not touching your face usualy makes sure you don't get them.
(For example, I know I can get them but I don't get them because I have very hygenic hands and face.)
9. Is it gay to talk about yourself and how your body has changed with other boys?
I have no clue how that could be concidered gay...
10. Does puberty affect boys differently?
Yes.

1. I stared growing armpit hair at the at of 13 (year after puberty) and I got facial hair when I was about the age of 14/15
2. After I had full pubic hair, I started to see a small bit of growth
3. Just like my armpit hair, age 13, my leg hair got really thick and dark. But I only started getting chest hair at 15
4. What I saw with the guys I went to school with and myself, once our voices broke, that was it.
5. Early 20s
6. At school I see that the only competition was only about facial hair, not so much body and pubic hair
7. Nope
8. Unfortunately you can't stop acne. But depending on genetics, that will determine the amount if acne you get.
9. No! It's like a conversation starter with guys. Especially at school because some guys can help you out if you have questions and vice versa
10. Yeah, some guys when they enter puberty, it's fast for them (like the amount of hair on there body will just grow so quickly) but some it's much slower (the process of getting body hair)
