Is this possible? I am still confused. I have heard of people experimenting but they never had STD's?
Has anyone contracted one even though they were a virgin?

You can get an STD through nonsexual contact. The HIV virus can be passed through most bodily fluids. If somebody contracted the virus through contact with infected blood, and then was to have oral sex with somebody and ejaculate in his or her mouth, then yes, oral sex can transmit STDs, regardless of being a virgin or not.

Yep.
Also, some of the "contact" STD's such as Herpes can be genetic (i think). I've had cold sores for as long as I can remember and my mom does too.
So the only way to be 100% sure you don't have an std is to go to the doctor and get tested.

Herpes 1 can be genetic, or from kissing, yadda yadda. Herpes 2 is through sexual contact or self-transmission (like if for whatever reason you touched your sore then your exposed genitals or something)
HIV can be genetic as well.
Definitely agree- getting tested is the only way to know for sure.

Sorry for a late answer. But is there sort of a thing where a sex clinic posts something through the door (discreet packaging, not suspicous) and its a test and then you send it back to them and they give you results through email?
When you do walk into a sex clinic can you be any age? Can you lie who you are? If you are infected, can they treat you without your parents knowing? Jesus, I definitley would'nt want to do it where I live. I think I'll travel to London just to do it. Imagine how awkward it will be. I'm like a midget and there is going to be like 21 year olds and I look about 5!

Mono is NOT herpes.
It's actually another type of herpes virus... so it IS a type of herpes.
Yes you can catch an STD even if both parties are virgins, Hepatitis B can be transmitted from mother to fetus, Hepatitis C too and HIV.
Also Mono isn't exactly an STD but you can catch it even if both are virgins.
