I understand.. but, maybe (TRY) and make them understand? I can't say much for this, but I understand. Just like my parents, I'm afraid.

Try reasoning with them. Tell them to think of what they were doing at age 14 and how you still feel like a child. Also bring up that spankings don't work and are weird to do to someone turning 18 in less than 4 years.

Dude I know exactly how you feel. My parents are the exact same way.
I was thinking maybe I would explain to mine that, if they don't let me live my life now, I will have no idea how the hell to decide things for myself when I'm 18. Maybe that might work?

I haven't tried it yet because honestly I'm terrified of my dad because he's basically the authoritarian dictator of my house. But I will definitely get back to you when I do.

I try not to because I never win haha. I just sit there and get talked at, nothing changes no matter what I say. He makes up his mind and that's that.

I used to be treated the same way. But as I've gotten older and matured, my parents have become less strict and given me more leeway. Honestly, I wouldn't fight them. Unless of course they are treating you terribly.

My mom is the same way. I am grounded right now because my math grade went from a 96 to a 93. Its back up to 96 but I am still grounded till the end of school. If I complain, I am being "immature".

Caught watching gay porn, i was finished and i had my dick put in my shorts, but i had cum on my chest below my chin. Idk if she seen it, but you'd have to be blind not to. They wanted to know why i was watching gay porn, so i told them i was gay. They haven't said anything since Friday about it. I'm still treated like I'm 5 tho, so no friends house( never been or stayed at a friends house b4), no laptop, really no fun. I actually prefer to be at school, half the time. my life sucks. I will not know what its like to be self-dependant unless they change.

That's too bad man. I just got to stay overnight at a friends house about a month ago for the first time. Hasn't happened since. Been grounded for almost a month. Just got my laptop back, but no cell phone.

How they treat me now affects how i treat them later and how much i see them, or go to their house. I try not to worry about it to much, . Look on-the-job bright side, that's one memory you'll have to reflect on. Thanks, I'm glad to see I'm not alone on this one

one of my friends parents was like this to him when we were 13 he couldn't go to the pool or anything without them for more than an hour now he's 16 smokes weed and nearly fails every class because once he got a taste of freedom he ran with it maybe just tell them that if you don't get freedoms now you wont be able to do make good decisions for yourself when older or when they aren't around
