When did you first feel ready and/or first have sex?

Honestly, I'm fifteen and I don't feel ready. I had the opportunity to have sex and didn't take it and no I'm not gay. I'm beginning to think its related to my abuse of marijuana since it apparently inhibits brain development and i started smoking at age 13. (I know dumb idea I just wanted a crowd to fit in with)

I'm not going to lie, I felt like I was ready at 14 but one of the sex talk my dad had with me at the time he was like wait until you're 16, so from 14-15 I was just doing oral with girls

And I lost it at 16 to my friend and current girlfriend

Each person is different when they become ready, so make sure you are protected and have fun, but I think (don't hate me if I'm wrong lol) you getting closer to be ready to have sex

What others do or are ready for is not the question.
Just go as you are and then you will feel ready - no experience of weed but if or if not you smoke it is really up to you.

I'm pretty sure your smoking had nothing to do with your saying no to sex. I felt ready last year with my girlfriend and we had sex a month later. I was 15 and a half. Talk to the lady about it. Good luck!

Most kids arent ready when they lose their virginities. Normally guys lose it because they think with their smaller head and not their bigger head. Guys just want sex, we dont think about the consequences normally, and tend to pay the price later. Just wait until you feel ready, completely ready, and not self conscious about anything, thats when youre ready.

Don´t worry, at 15 most of the kids aren´t ready for sex.

It means your are not ready yet. Sex involves a lot of issues and risks, think about pregnancy, STD, HIV-AIDS, etc. That is the reason that many guys remain virgins until adulthood or just experimenting with other boys.

I felt I was ready to lose my virginity( and did lose it)when I was 14. I have no regrets about losing it to the girl I did. Everyone feels ready at different times. To decide if you're ready think if you feel a connection to that person. This might insure that you can decide when the time is right for you.

I think it's easier for guys because we're normally horny. But to actually go "do it" you kind of have to be ready in your mind I guess. Sort of like okay I'm about to reveal every last intimate detail about me with this other person, and I'm okay with that. You really are sharing yourself with another person. That means a lot of trust should be there.

I felt ready when I was 12 I feel in love with a 15 year old guy but we never did anything . I wish I told him how I felt about him because I don't see him anymore :(

Personally. I dont think a guy is ready to have sex until he can honestly do the following:
- walk in anywhere and buy his own condoms without having to hide them of feel embarrassed, no matter if he is 16-18-21 etc:
- is comfortable being completely 100% naked in front of another human being, (who he is wanting to have sex with.
- knows how to 'love' whilst having sex, what to say, what to do to make her/him comfortable, know boundaries, where to caress, how to be passionate instead of awkward.

i did it at 12 because i thought i was ready, but sometimes i think i should have waited at least until i was 14 -- no regrets though
