Never had Mello Yellow, but I really used to like mountain dew...except they never have the original around here anymore, it's always the caffeinated one that tastes terrible.

Mountain Dew of course. BUT, at the magic soda fountain machine at Terrible Herbst, that offers a huge selection, it's only coke products so I have to settle for mellow yellow, which i get in diet cherry. Not as good as Code Red, but close.

No but really they taste kinda similar to me. I'd say Mountain Dew has a slightly sweeter/sugary taste to it, but that's the only difference I detect. They're both alright.

Mountain Dew is pretty gnarly stuff, I dare not put that horrid elixer in my body. I try not to drink soda, but if I had to choose, I would go with Mellow Yellow.
