Well first, if a guy stares at your butt or boobs it's lust, he probably doesn't legitimately like you.

With that said, if a guy ignores a conversation just to look at you, and this happens more than once, then I can almost guarantee he likes you. After that it does vary a lot though, some guys are way more direct than others, some to the point where it will be extremely obvious. Also give a look to social networks. The thing that made me pretty obvious to the girl who was my crush two years ago is that I liked her pictures on Facebook every time she posted one, give an eye to that.
