I'd have to stay with my schizo dad in Austin. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Do you know why it's so expansive in other countrys? Because up to 95% of it is TAXES. And it eventualy is used for the people. Thats why they are not complaining.

nwshc
August 28th, 2005, 11:11 AM
Ya, its pretty cool, and very interesting.

It starts off with a Catigory 5 Hurricane, Exactly like the one we have right now. And this
Hurricane hits the luisiana area, where all the oil refineries are, just like this one is suppost to.

Well to make a long story short, the hurricane destroys our oil refineries (they are already like 30 years old to boot) and gas prices skyroket, because everything has to be divertied to california or something.

Then in Saudi Arabia, some radicals take over most of all of the oil driling and pumping companies,a dn gas prices still skyroket to 5 bucks a gallon. There are mass riots all over the US, and basicly we shut down.

Then like after a year, the refineries get rebuilt, and everything starts running smoothly again.

ScotsGirl
August 28th, 2005, 08:31 PM
The averagre price of petrol per litre in the uk has now gone up to £0.90...

and 1 gallon = 3.7854118 litres

which means here we are paying £3.41 per gallon (3.40687062)

and the current exchange rate is roughly £1 = US $1.8

which means...correct me if im wrong...we're paying... $6.13 per gallon (6.132367116)

:(

If anybody Austin, blame the mayor of New Orleans, and the governor of Louisiana! They are they ones that should have been prepared. Bush cant give Louisiana any special attention more than the other states. So it is up to the mayor and the governor to get every thing ready. They should have forced everyone out, and basically make the place a ghost town. This is not Bushes job. And they (the mayor and the governor) have been blaming everyone else. Its no ones fault but their own.

nwshc
September 3rd, 2005, 04:40 PM
They could have bussed them out like they have, or at least get everyone out of their homes and to the super dome so at least everyone is in one spot and they don't have to go rescue people.

well people started talking about related issues. conversations flow that way sometimes. i honestly dont give a shit about gas, even if i DO have to pay for it. simply because its one of those things that no matter how expensive it is, ill still be willing to pay. honestly if there was some crisis and gas shot up to 20 bucks a gallon--you all would still pay for it. so it doesnt matter

i think its sick we have the technology to build engines to run on water, but no, we can raise the prices on petrol, while bp and texaco are raking in the dough. Whilst our petrol sources are running out.........

nwshc
September 7th, 2005, 06:52 PM
Rudi... think of how LONG it would take to introduce this kind of technology. First you need to introduce it to the public. But before that you need to build hydrogen stations, but before that people need to buy the cars, yada yada. We need at least 10 years before about 25% of people have it.
