Hey. My parents, especially my mom is really putting quite some pressure when it comes to my homeworks and tests. She's VERY concerned about my IGCSEs, a British Curriculum exam that you take in Grade/Year 10 and I can understand that and I am too. I'm now only 13 years old in Grade/Year 8 and I'm actually doing darn well and my teachers are even cooler and calmer on me than my parents. I get many A's in my reports and I'm happy with my progress. I'm cool in sportd and everything is going well. But you all have to know that I also have some ups and downs. For example I'm bad in writing very good novels. But my mom expects me to get all top marks of the whole grade and get A's all the time. This is impossible. She didn't get straight A's when she was young and in fact she had worse English than me. Please help!! I'm human and I have weaknesses as well. You can't take a weakness away from a person like taking off a hat!

Just sit her down and calmy and politely explain to her exactly how you feel. Make sure to think out what you're going to say to her beforehand and present your emotions and your feelings in a fair, objective way. Tell her you're feeling very stressed and smothered, and that considering how well you're doing you don't think it would be so much to ask for her to give you some room to breathe. Make sure to be direct and honest about how you feel and avoid getting angry.

Tell her that she is stressing you more than the tests themselves are, and that she needs to chill and relax with a book sometime, and get off your back for a little while.
