Go to this (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions) page ( User CP ) and under "Messaging & Notification" you'll find the e-mail options.

i don't use my main email for my forums accounts anyways so it wouldn't really matter to me, but they can't because of how i have things set up like Bo said.
