I apologise beforehand but I feel the need to rant. Rest assured this does have a constructive point to it... I just feel the need to vent a little before I get to it lol.

I could explain how horrible insomnia is but to be honest anyone who suffers from it knows just how mental it is anyway. So, right, I've had it my entire life. I've never had a decent nights sleep ever. I get an hour or less sleep a night which is unbelievably insane. For some inexplicible reason I was born with a body clock that requires the need for sleep every two days rather than every 24 hrs and even after 48 hrs I only need two or three hours actual sleep. Now I would be fine with that if I had a life but I don't. Because I don't have a life I get so mind-numbingly bored that all I want to do is sleep all the time, which of course (for the reasons stated above) just doesn't happen. If I did have a life I would be able to fill all that spare time with something constructive and meaningful and keep the boredom at bay, and if that was so, quite frankly, I wouldn't give a damn how much sleep I get. I've tried everything, absolutely every trick in the book to change my sleeping habits. The constructive point I mentioned earlier is NOT that I want advice on how to sleep because I've heard it all and tried it all.
For some reason I can function perfectly normally on an hour or less sleep a day. The thing that confuses that a bit is that I'm schizophrenic so I don't actually ever function normally or remotely perfectly, but if you take that factor out of the equation then I function perfectly normally on an hour or less a day. Anyway, that's enough raving from the nutcase.

The constructive point is this. I'm just curious to know if anyone else has a bodyclock that works on a 48 hr schedule rather than a 24 hr one? Let me know,

Thanks xXx

well from the sounds of things my advice would be to get a hobby! Go running, read a book, play a video game, study there is generally no excuse for utter boredom now-a-days. But I do understand its not as if you can go for a jog at midnight.

Im kinda the same... I just tend to sleep in the day instead of night... I'll sleep through the whole day an then when I wake up its late and I have nothing to do and get soooooooo bored.
