Unless your friends are both completely finished with puberty I highly doubt that they are that big at 14. I'd also like to say the same for you, but I simply can't be sure.

Don't worry about it kid, you're perfectly fine. The thing with puberty is that it isn't a linear thing. It's not like first your body does this, then this, then you have a bigger penis. Everyones body develops differently and at different rates. The fact that you're growing hair and height though, means that you are in the midst of puberty. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll start to see some growth there soon.

Measuring your penis correctly

Measuring your penis isn't as easy as you might think at first. Actually it is a bit tricky and if you are wondering how you can do it yourself then you have come to the right place. And don't forget penis size isn't only about length. After all most women prefer girth vs length. Girth should be measured as well ! First lets start by measuring length

How to measure penis length
Penis length should only be measured when you have a full erection. After achieving an erection take a ruler and place it right next to your small friend. Then press the ruler gently inside your fat tissue. With this gently push you will probably gain 1-3 cm or even more if you are fat :)
Generally the size of the erection depends on some factors including the time of the day and how aroused you are. So in order to take 100 % reliable results it is better if you take 3 different measures:
one in the morning
one in the noon
and one in the evening
Then sum these three numbers up and divide them by three. This way you will have a number that is as close as possible to your true penis length

How to measure penis girth
Measuring your penis girth is actually a bit difficult! Why ? Well again you have to measure your penis in the morning, noon and evening. But each time you have to get 3 different measurements as well!
First for measuring your penis girth you are gonna need a tape measure. Use it to measure your girth at the base of your shaft, at the middle of your shaft and directly below the head. Take these three measurements, sum them up and divide by three. Now you have your girth size.
Like we mentioned before do this three times (morning, noon, evening), take the final three numbers, sum them and divide by three

try talking to your father if possible.. or an older brother. It would be less awkward. for showering It's a personal choice whether or not to shower. For your size it's most likly a late puberty. Who knows you might have a huge growth spert.

The average adult is 5-6 inches, so you're at the top end of average. You also have at least a few more years of puberty left, so there's a pretty good possibility of some potential growth remaining.

You can always talk to a doctor about it. There are some things that hold a guy back that a doctor can take care of. Usually it's just that a guy is a late bloomer. I've read guys in the forum saying they didn't start growing down there until they were nearly 17.

Again, no that is not small or even close, most penis' look "small" when they are flaccid, which is normal, so don't worry; and your 16 so you're still growing.

Everyone's size flactuates when it's flaccid, which includes shrivelling to a very small size at some points. It's totally normal.

Well, there really is no average for teens, because everyone develops at different paces. However, the adult average is 5-6 inches, and it sounds like you're in the early stages of puberty, so there's a good chance you'll grow into that average.

Your penis sounds like mine except it's 6 in long hard and I'm 17. I don't hate it but would be happier if it had more girth. I have never measured the girth because it is a pencil dick.

It's a bit under the average size, but at 15 and a half you still have some more years left in puberty so it may grow a bit bigger.
